Cacti

The new Cacti (snmp monitoring) is out !
The new 0.8.7a was released during the week-end.  It correct a few bugs and add2 new small features. The big deal is the improvements made during the 0.7.6 to 0.8.7 switch.

One good thing : the config is now in the database. No more config file (even if the config file was really small already) except for the database infos. The other good point is the ability to « bind » to LDAP server before authentication. No need of my patch. On the other hand, there are still no feature to trigger an external alert, like the Nagios alerting system I added with my patch. I will have to port this patch to the new version. Hope to do this during the week.

I also hope to migrate this week, and will come back with more informations soon.
